Sunday, June 12, 2005 - Anns Birthday

On Friday evening we passed a very pleasant evening being wined and dined by Ann in her garden, and she looked after us regally. She doesn't want everyone to know her age but she felt that she had to celebrate as it's the last one before she reaches 65 :) Her beautiful little dog has had some troubles since being bitten by a cat (cats' mouths it seems carry a myriad of diseases) resulting in its back legs being paralysed. She has nursed for months now, and the dog has got used to the idea, but gets very excited and frustrated when she is unable to chase around. Although she now has been fitted with a set of wheels, REALLY, (I will have to get a photograph later) and on a level surface she gets about nicely;
